A promise of the future as DHA achieves full operating capability

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) achieved a significant milestone Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, as the agency reached full operating capability. Dr. Jonathan Woodson, assistant secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, said the journey toward greater jointness reaches much further back than the two years the DHA has been operational; it covers the decades of improvements in military medicine and the need to lay out a path for the future.
